2010 Children's Christmas Production: On our way to the manger, we'll visit the 1980's, the 1950's and much more! All students in grades 1-6 are invited to a Kick-Off Party for the 2010 Christmas Production on Sunday, September 12th at 4:30 PM in the Children's Church area (downstairs). Marriage Conference
Pastor Jeff and Amy would like to invite the members of Meadow to attend a 2-day marriage conference with them at Hebron Baptist in Dacula (Sept. 17-18) with Gary Smalley. We currently have tickets at a discounted price. If you wish to purchase these tickets, please fill out a registration form at the Information Station and make a check payable to Meadow ($60 per couple/$30 per individual) and place it in the Love & Laughter Marriage Getaway lockbox hanging up on the Information Station board. There are a limited number of discounted tickets so turn in your registration early! Childcare will be provided during the conference times for Meadow members here at the church, free of charge. Please sign up at the Information Station if you need childcare.
DivorceCare Weekly Support Group Coming To Meadow!
DivorceCare is a scripturally based program designed to bring healing to those experiencing the devastating effects of divorce or separation. This approach does not condone divorce but rather helps in the healing process for those who have experienced it. Registration and Orientation will be held on Tuesday, September 14th at 6:30 PM. Celebrate Recovery with Dr. Richard Douglas
Are you or someone you know struggling with life-controlling issues? Codependency, anger, abuse, food, pornography, gambling, rejection, unforgiveness, substance abuse, etc. Celebrate Recovery can help you achieve healing and wholeness for your hurts, habits and hang ups. Celebrate Recovery is open to everyone and begins at Meadow on Thursday, August 26th, at 6:00 p.m. for our main meeting, 7:00 p.m. for small groups, 8:00 p.m. for Fellowship Cafe. Childcare is available.

SALT Shakers Trip- Yellow Daisy Festival at Stone Mountain Park
All seniors (ages 55 & above) are invited to join us on Thursday, September 9th as we go to the Yellow Daisy Festival (Arts & Crafts Festival) at Stone Mountain Park. Please sign up at the Information Station by Sunday, September 5th.
Sunday School Leadership Meeting
Sunday, September 12th: Teachers and Youth Leaders are asked to meet with Administrative Pastor Larry Miller at 4:30 PM in the Faith Bible classroom (main floor).
Atlanta City Baptist Rescue Mission
Monday, September 6th: Join us as we minister to the homeless in Atlanta through music and the preaching of God's Word. The church van will leave Meadow at 6:00 PM. Please see John Cauble or Dan Robertson for ministry opportunities.
Ladies Bible Study: At the Home Of Shirley Shockley
We will not meet in August, but will resume our Bible study in September in the book of Revelation. Please be sure to read the first chapter of "The Vision Of His Glory" and complete the questions at the end of the book. If possible, read the book of Revelation in its entirely before we meet again on September 25th at 6 PM.

Children's Ministry: We are seeking committed volunteers to work with children at various times during the week. Our church is growing and our volunteer base needs to grow also. Meadow's children need faithful, committed adults who will see the value of regular investment in their lives through personal involvement during scheduled church services. Please consider this opportunity to make a lasting difference in the lives of children. Training and resources will be provided to any and all who are interested. Please contact our Children's Ministry Director, John Cauble at johncauble@meadowbaptist.com. Drivers are also needed to drive the church vans on Wednesday nights!
Church Security and Parking Lot Attendants: Church Security volunteers are needed to help provide a safe enviroment for all church services and activities. We will gladly train and equip any member who would like to volunteer. Parking Lot Attendants are needed to help direct the flow of traffic in the church parking lot before and after all services.
