How profitable to journey through the book of Galatians verse by verse. This study explores the dangers of blind tradition and religious legalism. The true Gospel of Jesus Christ only allows for Christ Himself to be exalted before mankind. Religious people have always sought to add to the truth that we are justified by faith alone in Christ alone. The resulting legalism is formed through family traditions, social culture, church and denominational affiliation and individual preferences and convicitons. When these things are exalted to an inappropriate place the result is a lessening of the impact of the pure Gospel. The question that must ultimately be answered is 'What makes a person acceptable before God?' This series will take us back 2,000 years to discover that we are commanded by God to fight against all error - both liberal and legalistic - in order to protect the truth that nothing can be added to the work of Christ which makes us acceptable to the Lord. May God empower us all to search our hearts and discern if any contamination has crept in which might seek to rob our King of His rightful place as foremost in our lives.Downloads
