NEXT GENERATION

As students tell their friends about church, get involved in our ministry, begin to mature in their relationship with Christ, and finally encourage their peers to become involved in church, they will be living a life that closely models the example of Jesus Christ.

At Meadow Baptist Church, our youth ministry is filled with incredible friendships, worship and discipleship. Students in grades 6-12 will find worship that rocks, and Bible study that moves beyond storytelling to explore what living a life like Christ really means.

High school and middle school students from all over Gwinnett County gather on Wednesday nights to worship God as a body of one. Each group is led by incredible adults who love hanging out with teenagers. Videos, testimonies, dramas and group games are all used to creatively communicate the Biblical messages. If you want to be grounded in your faith, then you need to be a part of Meadow youth each week.

If you are looking for a place to hang out, have fun, and worship God - then Meadow youth is the place for you. The lessons are targeted for what high school and middle schoolers are facing every day. We meet in the youth room on Wednesdays from 7 – 8:30 pm. If you come early at 6:30, you can grab a snack at the “Snack Shack” and hang out.

WANT TO VOLUNTEER?

Our ministry needs adults who are excited to connect with students each week. We believe that relationships are a key ingredient for life change…we need Godly leaders who want to build relationships and participate in a weekly church service and/or small group with students.

Here are some great ways you can get involved right now in Student Ministries!

Weekend Leaders:

There are numerous ways to get involved serving during the weekend. We have services on Sunday morning at 9:15a.m. We need people to greet and hang out with students during the services, connect with students while playing games, run different elements of the service, and help answer parent’s questions before and after service.  The weekend service should be a safe and welcome environment to come and connect with other students and caring adults.

Small Group Leader:

We believe that LIFE CHANGE happens in small groups. Our Wednesday night service has a huge need for small group leaders. We are looking for men and women who LOVE God and have a desire to journey with students through the ups and downs of their faith. We need people who are excited to care about students and help them become rooted in God’s word.  Small Groups…meet weekly after the Wednesday night youth service. The groups meet in classrooms throughout the church. 1 to 2 adult leaders will be teamed up with possibly 6-8 same age and gender students. The groups meet each week during the school year for Bible study and accountability. We will train our leaders and equip them with the curriculum and tools needed to succeed.
